BurgerKing

Where: Burger King
What: 2 Rodeo Cheeseburgers with 9 Funnel Cake Sticks
Cost: $4.11
Success: Yes!

UPDATE: This creation was mentioned by Conan O’Brien on the January 8th episode of The Tonight Show.

Another successful attempt in our Will They Build It? series, where we venture to find out whether or not we can get fast food joints to make our dreams come true. The first was a failure at Taco Bell, but we did have a success at McDonald’s.

At just over 1,500 calories this is the only meal you’ll need practically all day. It will take you roughly 4 hours of shoveling snow to burn those calories off…but with some of the nation’s recent snowfall you may just be doing just that. Here’s the best (and cheapest) way to get the energy. Witness the amazingly delicious Burger King Double Bacon Rodeo State Fair Cheeseburger!

bk-caloriesThere’s no need to wait until the next fair to come around to get a glutinous treat that’ll make you dance. Head over to your local BK and have them make you the State Fair Cheeseburger. Your mileage to the dollar may vary…the cashier was very generous and did not charge me for two Rodeo Cheeseburgers but only for an additional patty, she also did not charge for the bacon. It’s amazingl what a smile will get you :)

  1. I basically live on bread, you know, but the best part about that photo is how unappetizing the bun looks. To think I normally eat that with my burgers. The unmelted cheese is super-sexy, though.

I don't think I'm going to even want anything else until I can eat this with a large fries.

As the creator of the Rodeo Cheeseburger back in 1996, and a huge (figuratively and literally) fan of Conan O'Brien, I think I have to eat this once (and only once).

The rodeo was something we made from leftovers at closing (which is not allowed) but submitted with full procedures and service levels as an idea to the higher ups and had published in the newsletter. We also made leftover chicken tender sandwiches, I don't know if that got submitted later but I noticed that it eventually came out for a short while too.

I'd substitute a 4-piece chicken tender for the second patty. Then you have a Farm Show Cheeseburger.
