The “intitle” search is a way that Google uses to filter results by words in the title tag of web pages. With it, certain insights can be found about the very nature of the Internet. More pages with a particular word in the title means that the word in question is more “important” to us on the Internet.

We took a look at some of the different things that people might search for on Google to see how many results were available for each. Here’s what we found:

People looking for “Fulfillment” have a lot of choices, nearly 1,000,000!

Ah, “Enlightenment.” We are really out on the Internet searching for meaning.

Satisfaction.” Nearly 5,000,000 pages. That makes sense. Who doesn’t want to be satisfied?

There we are. What a smart society. Enlightenment is worthless without “Wisdom” and Satisfaction is simply not good enough. What we really want is…

Joy.” Of course. Better than satisfied. We want bliss. But what brings us Joy?

Now we have it. “Money” makes us happy. Unfortunately, most people don’t have enough money to be happy, and most people who have enough simply aren’t. There must be something that we’re searching for that… oh, wait…

Of course.
