This is what happens when the IT Department is allowed to decorate for the holidays. Not only do you get this amazing 8-Bit display but they’ve really gotten into it and added all the great Holiday references.
From one of the little elves involved, Diamond Jo, he says:
The whole thing was done in photoshop, then scaled up six times (so 1 game pixel is 6×6 actual pixels) and placed in a grid to give the old 8-bit feel. Then it was sent to illustrator for tiled printing to A3 sheets (of which we used about 2/3 of a reem of). We were very strict about it and promised to recycle the paper and at the end of the day the materials cost less than $5 (including printing because we get it at cost price).
I just wished I worked in an office this cool. Although it’s probably a good idea I don’t, I’m sure I’d end up getting absolutely no work done. Not that I really get any work done anyways. But if I did work there, at least I would have an excuse.
