I can think of a few things more valuable to hold for ransom. Nonetheless, gotta hand it to ‘em for the use of Microsoft Paint in a ransom note, that pillow looks spot-on.

And for the readable version of the ransom note:

How did you get an original copy of the note if this isn't staged?
@wombat247 I'm guessing whoever left the note took the photo, therefore not that hard to figure out why there's an original copy ::shrugs::
555,
I really love the ransom note and the wit behind this. Already dugg!
It's possible that the photographer also has something known as a "flatbed scanner". It is, however, prohibitively expensive, as it is alien technology; extremely rare and hard to find.
Is it just me or is the note writer dyslexic? :)
LOL at the flatbed scanner comment… Look at the green in supposed scan, pure green (0x00FF00). Now look at the photo; it's dark, what a cheap printer would print out pure green. If it was scanned in after the fact, it would have scanned in as dark green.
Apparently, we have "alien technology" but not the educational system to allow us to understand it..
Note should be to whomever, not whoever
Don't they know all the real money is in snuggies.
I guess my *real* question is "why does top cultured have the original copy of the note if it isn't staged?"
I mean, I *get* it that the person who left the note thought they were extra-clever by leaving it. My point is that this is "staged" because the clearly wanted someone to blog about how clever they were. That's not exactly the point of these posts… is it? In my humble opinion, it would be a hell of a lot funnier if someone came across this note and snapped a pic than it would be for the person who put it up there in the first place to do it. The way it stands, this is just a "HEY LOOK AT ME LOOK AT HOW COOL I AM" post.
When something is staged as this is, it loses its appeal. Rather like "The Blair Witch Project" and "Paranormal Activity" did.
Why am I writing this?
Incredible! Your site has quite a few comment posts. How did you get all of these people to see your blog I'm envious! I'm still getting to know all about article writing on the net. I'm going to view pages on your site to get a better understanding how to achieve success. Thank you! http://www.tokyoexodus.com
