I am a married guy, and I agree that what she did was "cheating". I can understand the guy wanting to dump her publicly. So I was okay with the stunt, up to the point where the DJ's started laughing at her. From that point on, it was cruel. Unnecessary roughness.

This was cold, but it was good radio. Most people enjoy a spectacle. These radio shows are an escape from our own lives into something else. Have you ever caught yourself feeling better about yourself and your life after watching an episode of Cops or Jersey Shore? It's entertainment, and that's why people listen to the radio.

As for the couple, well, obviously they are better off without each other. What better way for a clean break than to do something as over-the-top asinine as this? Why take the chance that you'll go soft and want to take her back? Better for a clean break and move on afterward in my opinion.

I have to agree with Sean and Troy on this one.

Yes, Ashley obviously cheated.

Yes, Chris had every right to be angry and break up with her

Yes, Chris knew that the DJ's would tear into her

Yes, Chris knew that Ashley would be humiliated and crushed

None of that makes Chris' actions right.

Chris should have taken the high road on this one. He should have confronted Ashley in private, and not air everything for the entire world to hear.

I'm not justifying Ashley's behavior, but there are marriages that survive worse actions that this. That's why Chris should have kept it private.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something.

Wow, that is lame. I guess the people that think that is so amazingly funny – like Scotty Trigg – are the same idiots that make up the viewership of MTV's The Real World. The girl is obviously a dumbass, and obviously this guy was hurt by her, and payback's a bitch. He's justified in being pissed, and he's justified in telling her to take a walk.
