Most alarms require you to enter some sort of pin code to arm and disarm the device. This one goes a bit beyond that, forcing you to fap in order to protect your belongings. Hey, I’m not complaining…

    Folks, this is a really old feature on home alarm panels. I have seen this since at least 1997. The buttons are hotkeys to call the Fire Station, Ambulance or Police respectively. You have to hold the button down for 3 seconds before it is activated.

    Actually, this alarm keypad is just like any other. FAP stands for Fire, Ambulance, Police. Rather convenient, yes?
