Recycled Recyclable Recycle Bin (or trash container)

What’s more enviro-friendly than a recycle bin made from recycled paper that you can recycle? Not much. Designers Riccardo Nannini, Domenico Orefice and Emanuele Pizzolorusso have created this one-time use waste paper basket that looks an awful lot like a muffin cup. Either way, it’s thoughtful and unique and, I want one.

Information about the project and the designers may be found here.

    That is really cool. Me want one tooooo…

  2. Burt Reynolds says:

    Why does the person in the illustration have two different colored hands?

  3. Ariel says:

    Burt,

    The lighter colored hand is the inside of that arm/hand, and therefore it makes sense that they are two different colors.

  4. Ariel says:

    nice idea, though, I don't get why someone would use it as a trash bag, when the whole point of it is that it is recyclable.

  5. Jim Dandy says:

    What happens when you throw something wet in it?

  6. bethers says:

    fore and aft. the different colors are either to signify that someone just did the dishes one-handed or to show: fore and aft. not because it's the inside and outside color. that was a weird response =D

    anyway, the problem here is that the description is not the same as a tag. what the tag says makes more sense; the description reiterates that you can recycle the bag.

    mr. dandy, that wouldn't really be a problem because…this is for recyclables, according to the sidebar (tag). you rinse out whatever you wanna recycle and let it dry for maximum results anyway ;}

    so basically what the description fumbles over is that this is a recycled recyclable bin that you can throw recyclables into.
