Interesting Facts About Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner, but if you frequent Walgreens at all you’d have thought it was last month, man they really start pushing that candy on you earlier and earlier every year. Pretty soon you’ll be shopping for your costume in mid-June. Lucky for us has a nice array of contest winning costumes for the spooky night coming up.

    People often get so caught up in the fun of a holiday that it is easy to lose track of the origins and actual meaning of the holiday. I had no idea that there are that many different names for Halloween or that Jack O Lanterns were originally made from turnips. :)

    According to various blogs/infographics, LOTS of days are the "third biggest party day behind New Years and Super Bowl Sunday" And like most of them,. this claim is bulls**t. ESPECIALLU since Halloween parties are often held on the weekend before and therefore would be a different day each year.

    Im from England and white cats aren't bad luck?? Its just the black cats, the only thing I can think about white cats is that they tend not to live as long as other cats.

    el dia de los muertos is not another name for Halloween at all. el dia de los muertos is the day after.
