October 30, 2008. I had surgery fixing shattered left cheek, broken jaw, broken nose, right cheek under eye, I got 11 plates, 5 screws and a wire inside holding from my jaw up and eye together.

Fully recovered one year later. Fully healed and the plates are dissolving, there will only be the screw itself left after a few years.

After getting the bandages off. All the swelling is almost gone

18 days after the surgery... There is still pain occasionally. Just starting to chew really soft food now, I’ve lost around 10 pounds only eating jello and pudding for the last month and a half.
