In honor of the Olympics and Team USA, Gillette launched the “Light It Up” holographic light show on July 27th, just after the opening ceremonies. Members Tyson Gay and Ryan Lochte of Team USA were illuminated in an awe-inspiring 60 foot tall hologram over Boston Harbor. Using water sprays and projected light next to Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art, Gillette paid homage to two of America’s great athletes in a unique and amazing way – set to the tune, “Steve McQueen” by M83. The show is also the kickoff of Gillette’s “Get Started” campaign, which challenges you to prepare like an Olympian.
