		<description>I have had service with AT&amp;T for... (ever since they took over Southern Bell) and I too have complaints about their service.  I currently have my Internet Service with them (a (supposedly) Fast DSL) which is very frequently SSSLLLLLOOOOOOWW.. If you get the drift.  Sometimes it takes as long as an hour to download 5 or 6 K of data (YES... 5 or 6 K).and i have waited for over an hour for a download of 200K (which should take about a half a second) and quit the download and re-started my P.C. to try to clear things up (usually without any noticeable change).  Then I give up and give it a try the next day.  Which works about 65% of the time.  I am seriously considering Hughes Net for early next year.  I like the DSL, it works most of the time, but when it is on a slow-down, it is intollerable.  Phone calls to Customer Servicees is a joke.  Nobody has any authority or knows who does or where to route your call to get authority = service.  After being routed from office to office (probably person to person down a long row of desks all operated by idiots), the 16 hour day is used up and you are forced to hang up and go seek nourishment, hydration and sleep.  Then, bight and early the next day, back at it.  &quot;Hold please, while I route you to my supervisor (the next guy in line)&quot;.  As the King said to I:  &quot;Etcetera, Etcetera, Etcetera................&quot;.  With a little luck, you&#039;ll get cut off within the first 8 hours and go stark raving NUTS!   
All in all,, I AM NONE TOO FOND OF AT&amp;T SERVICE!!!!! </description>
