Recently Time.com ran a poll asking its readers “What is the most important factor in selecting a Supreme Court nominee?” There are so many things wrong with this poll. The funniest and most obvious thing is that they’ve pictured Elena Kagan, and I swear, if you took the “a” off the name and the Marge Simpson necklace from the neck then you would have one tough time distinguishing which chromosomes are dominating here.

I don’t even want to get started on the remainder of the poll and I really don’t want to get into a rant but the fact that race is 58% of a deciding factor is just ridiculous in this day and age. Not that I’m naive, I just feel that we should have come a lot further by now. The other thing is there ought to be more things that one considers other than race, career, gender and religion. Really race, gender and religion shouldn’t play any sort of role at all.
Anyways, back to the humor at hand…I really think she (it) looks just like the Albino from Princess Bride. Anyone else agree? Who do you think Kagan resembles?

Seriously? You deride the fact that race, religion, and gender are at all considered in appointing judges, then you make fun of the way a woman LOOKS? Did you ever make fun of Scalia's looks, or any male politician? They're not the most attractive bunch, but somehow the fact that they're balding, fat, wrinkled old men is accepted. The reason gender is a factor and is continued to be is because of bullshit like judging a woman on her looks instead of how well she can do the job.
I guess I shouldn't expect much from a website that willingly affiliates itself with a site called "Muff Slap." I'm going vote this down on Digg.
trolled hard
Good ol' /b/
This was the work of 4chan.org. Yesterday every other thread (on 4chan) was about this poll, telling everyone to vote up race. Before all that started career was by far the biggest factor. I should know, I was on 4chan and I voted for race.
This was a poll bomb done by 4chan. Not even remotely accurate.
Hahaha, ol' Scotty is trying to be superior, but he's just as thoughtless as the people he's trying to criticize.
Nigga got trolled
The main reason race managed to 'win' this poll was because 4chan found the poll and fudged it.
You realise that this was all just one massive troll and that the data from this poll can't be counted as reliable or true, right?
Wow, really? That's your sense of humor? Top Cultured, indeed.
Hopefully I won't accidentally click any more links to this website. What a waste.
@ Jenee
Lol, fuck off bitch. its a joke.
trolled by 4chan. Learn 2 internet.
Nigga, you got trolled. Jenee is a whore who needs to stop having an opinion because she's a woman. Oh, and voting this down on digg? Wow, look like this site is fucked. They're loosing lurkers 1 by 1.
Sincerely,
Anon
Looks like Kevin James with ear rings….and i'm not sure who I feel more sorry for.

trolling is a art. Someone clearly doesn't know how internet polls (don't) work. Here's a quick pointer: (courtesy of wikipedia)
A voodoo poll (or pseudo-poll) is a pejorative description of an opinion poll with no statistical or scientific reliability, which is therefore not a good indicator of opinion on an issue. A voodoo poll will tend to involve self-selection, will be unrepresentative of the target population, and is often very easy to rig by those with a partisan interest in the results of the poll.[5][6]

Race is one of the first things Presidents consider when appointing a nominee followed by sex. Were politicians to appoint based on merit, our courts would be helmed by a vast array of races and well-mixed in respects to gender.
Politicians pull race and gender cards constantly. It's a convenient way to divide the populace.
I found this picture more fitting.
