With all the classic cartoon shows that have been made into live action movies recently (Transformers, G.I. Joe, The Flintstones, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Garfield, etc.) we know there will be more to come. We’ve decided to help out the studios and casting agents and give them a few good ideas on who can play a few of your favorite characters.

…you do realize that a good number of these cartoons already WERE portrayed by actors, right? Anna Paquin as Rogue, Freddy Prinze Jr. as Fred, etc.

As Jongo pointed out, a little less than half of these people are in shows/whatever that already have a movie. SSBob and Ned (Simpsons Movie), Wilma (live-action The Flintstones), Fred (live-action Scooby Doo movies), Rogue (live-action X-Men and X2), Mario Mario (live-action Super Mario Bros), and Patty Mayonnaise (Doug's 1st Movie).
