Those of us who grew up in the 80s remember the absolute burning NEED to have a calculator watch for school. Our perception was that it would be everything we needed to get into Harvard. The reality rarely matched – in my case, it was good ol’ Mizzou instead.
If you ask kids today to pull out their Trapper Keeper, they’d think you’d gone insane. Scented markers were all the rage in the 90s – now you’d probably be brought up on drug charges if you tried to sniff anything at school.
It’s a different age.
