If you’re unfamiliar with parkour…it’s all that jumping and climbing that people do without ropes and such. Pretty much what Jackie Chan got famous for but on a higher level even. Well this is a pretty cool little video of a hand-drawn stop motion parkour guy.

What a fantastic shot. Even after looking at it for awhile, and of course knowing how they pulled this illusion off, it still impresses. They do a great job of selling it. Obviously the angle and the textures play a huge role, but that does not take away from the wonderfulness that is this photo. Hats off to the models and the photographer. I wish I knew who captured this…I’m sure they’ll got a whole portfolio of terrific work.

I don’t know about you but the whole college football season has got me in a tizzy. What’s not to love? Beer, tailgating, burgers, fries, cheerleaders….oh and the games of course. With every weekend comes a whole host of amazing games to watch. How about that Texas games last week? Or that amazing Alabama one? Goodness me, there is always something to amaze me….and plus who doesn’t want a good excuse to sit on the couch the entire day?

Speaking of college football…have you seen Blue Mountain State? It’s a damn funny show, much in the vain of Animal House, all about the players and their exploits. One of my only regrets in life (so far) was not going further with my football aspirations…but I’d probably have ended up with shoddy knees and a weak back (sour grapes taste good). Either way, my point is that I love living vicariously through these guys because this is how I’d imagine my college life would have been. Who am I kidding, I’d still probably be on my computer, alone and living through my teammates antics. I guess I’m just a nerd at heart, there’s no denying it.

If you haven’t seen the show, I suggest you give it a looky look. Its second season starts October 20th on Spike TV. It’s right up there with Community as far as good college TV shows. Let me know what you think of it. In the meantime, here’s a cool video of the BMS boys redoing Kanye’s Power.

This is just insane footage of some insane dudes getting insanely close to burning hot magma. If it were me…well let’s be honest…if it were me I would be watching it on some blog. Almost better than all the jumping fish is the laughing of the guy behind the camera. This reminds me of the whole “double rainbow” video. This guy just can’t get enough of these flying flounders (I know, I know they’re Asian Carp). It may seem a bit slow…but wait until they start making it in the boat.

This is not an ad for the iPhone. This is an ad for AXA, a Belgium insurance company. It has to be one of the coolest ads I’ve seen in a long long time. It’s creative things like this that really make me remember a company and their products. What a great idea and amazing implementation of new technology. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a whole lot more ads like this in the near future.

Halloween is just around the corner, but if you frequent Walgreens at all you’d have thought it was last month, man they really start pushing that candy on you earlier and earlier every year. LeBron James has been making friends and enemies all over the place this off-season. He’s also said that he made a list of all the people who have been good or bad to him. The boys over at Guyism have put together these lists of possible offenders.

I would be scared shitless if this guy was that close to my lens…I’d run but he’s sure to catch me. Although he does look like he may be a little bit slower on the intelligence side of things. What’s the closet you’ve ever been to a wild animal?

If you’re like me and you find most local news personalties pretty mundane and laughable, then you’ll surely enjoy this video of them getting owned in all different manners. Although it might be bad form to laugh at people getting hurt or falling, I can’t help but chuckle at these. Maybe I’m just an asshole but there is something quite satisfying about this. Why do I feel like they’re just getting their comeuppance?
