Normally these online shorts about mid-late-20-somethings are pretty lame. There are the occsional good one, I tend to like Jake and Amir, but for the most part they’re a dime a dozen and not only that…they normally think they’re much funnier than they really are.
Often times it feels more like watching someone scraping their fingers across a blackboard than a clever or funny story. You see the problem is that everyone and their chauffeur in LA knows someone with a good camera and a boom mic. And they all think they’re hilarious comedians and great actors just one viral video away from internet stardom.
I may be going on a small rant but those damn things really do get on my nerves. You just see so many of them and they’re just not funny. I guess the thing that really gets me is that they don’t see it. They think it’s good stuff. Hate to tell you Mr. Hipster, my grandfather is a million times more funny and cleaver than you’ll ever be.
Anyways, enough about all that. The reason I brought it up is because I just saw “one of those” that I actually enjoyed. It’s called Breakup Breakdown, they only have one episode as of yet but they’re hoping to make a few more. Unfortunately MSN (and Bing) and idiots and won’t let me embed the video, but head over there to watch it and let me know what you think.
